Jean is an illustrator and designer born and raised on the South Coast of Te Whanganui-a-Tara. She is driven by connecting her passion for art and creativity with the fight for conservation and climate resilience in Aotearoa. She wrote and illustrated Tiaki: A shout-out to Aotearoa’s lesser-known endangered creatures. A pukapuka with the aim of sharing the stories of some of our more low profile endangered species. When she isn’t drawing she can be found running along the south coast or starting another knitting project.
